Click to expand. Check that out, and see if it helps you. You need to start with a tiny game that people KNOW that works doing this process since there are some games that this works with and some that do not. It does not work with every game.
So start with a game like LIMBO, as that is how I started. Download LIMBO and the FIX, (Crack), for the game. Try to stick to 3.55 cracked files as the seem to work best.
Someplace here in these forums, there is someone that has a file structure for download to do this easier called 'psn2isodiscstructure'. Find it and grab that download. I advise to use it for all future PKG to ISO rips.
Find the download PKG View in Aldos Tools, and download that as well. Then you can view PKG files and extract the contents to a folder. Then after you have it, use it. Extract LIMBO.pkg to the psn2isodiscstructure folder in the folder named 'PS3GAME' Then extract the cracked files there as well and overwrite the regular files in the PS3GAME folder. Then use the resigner for the EBOOT file found here: Place the cracked EBOOT of LIMBO into the folder named 'TrueAncestor EBOOT Resigner ODE Fixed by Joonie' and run the bat file After the EBOOT is cracked put it back into the PS3GAME/USRDIR folder where you found it.
If the game has SPRX files or SELF files, then you will need to use that batch generator for those as well to remake the cracked files. At least we now have the batch converter thanks to Joonie, so this can be done easier, but still only ONE file at a time can be done. Be aware of this. Now use a hex editor of your choice and edit the PS3DISC.SFB file and the LIC.DAT files so that they both say what game code your using. For example if the game is BLUS90784, then you simply hex edit the PS3DISC.SFB file, and scroll down until you see the proper file name where you need to edit it, and overwrite that area with BLUS-90784.
Then hex edit the LIC.DAT the same way and over write that data to display BLUS90784. Now at this point you will have created a proper disc structure for a working PS3 game. Depending on the game it might work, it might not. Use the PS3-ISO-Rebuilder and create your LIMBO ISO and give it a test run. If it works, then you did it correctly!
Now you can try with other games. LIMBO is known to work making it an ISO, so you must TRY with that game FIRST. Once successful then go onto trying others. I personally feel good about making Wolfenstein 3D, Military Madness, inFamous Festival of Blood and AMY all working ISOs. I will be making more in the future it just uses up a lot of time to make each one and having them fail just sucks. Anyway, like I said try it out and have fun. If I left out any steps I apologize.
I am tired and have not slept well in ages. But nobody else is answering your question, so I thought I would chime in and attempt to help you out.
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to mention that you will also need to use the SFO editor from Aldos tools to EDIT the cracked PARAM.SFO file in the game you are creating. After doing extensive testing on Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion Remake my results are as follows: I started off using a brand new hard drive in my PS3, so that way there are no chances of having the key to the game on the internal hard drive since I already bought that game and have it installed. I created a PKG of the game (BLUS version) into an ISO with the eboot cracked to version 3.55 for the ODE. The game does work like stated above, but only in Demo mode. I have created various versions of the game with different cracks, changing various aspects of the PARAM file, and yet every time I get the same results. Demo mode of the game.

I tried to create a new folder using the Sonicman in the HDD0/Game folder, (or whatever that folder is called), and I copied the edat file into it, and tried to play the game again. I tried to rebuild the database and rebooted the console. Still I am stuck with the DEMO mode. So I made a last ditch effort attempt.
I logged into the PSN and I downloaded my KEY file for the game and installed it. Then I logged out and ran the SonicMan and I cannot find where the KEY file is located. So this game is installing the KEY to a folder that we cannot access using the ODE, (to the best of my limited knowledge). There are no NEW folders made in the HDD0/Game directory, and all other directories come up with nothing. So I believe there is nothing we can do with this game as ODE users, and I think that only CFW users can crack this game to play. Now lastly, After I installed my purchased KEY from the PSN, and then booting into the game that I made into an ISO, the game is now no longer demo, and IS the full game. However, it is pointless as it cannot detect my saved game any longer.
It cannot save games, load games, or even save the changed options in the options menu. This game was meant to be installed onto the hard drive, and they had no intention of making a BluRay disc version of it, and that shows.
If you can decompile the game, and change the files to point to where to save the data, and recompile it afterward, then perhaps making an ISO of the game is feasible. However, again there is still the issue of where it saves the edat file? I have not one single clue.
I am still new to this and have only had my ODE since May or so. So my knowledge on PS3 games is still in its infancy.
Perhaps someone here can help us out make this an ISO and help us find where to place the edat file. Otherwise it is a dead end.
